This association acquired a reputation of dynamism because of its achievements. Most remarkable are: - Creator of "Libre Software Meeting" 2000 2001 2002... (world Meetings of the free software) gathering nearly 500 developers or contributors coming from forty countries. It is the first event of its category in the world. Each year is a greatest success. - Abuledu, a software kit allowing a full equipment of computers in a school with few expenses. For example 25 stations for only 3800 €. The ABUL received the assistance of the Regional Government of Aquitaine for these achievements and of European Commission (2002). |
